A senior nursing student in my Community Health Nursing class at Minnesota School of Business/Globe College. I completed my forty hours of clinical at Edina Public Schools with two licensed school nurses (LSN). At Cornelia Elementary in Edina I shadowed Mary, the licensed school nurse, to learn about the role of the community nurse in a school setting.

Marie:
A senior nursing student taking Community Health Nursing at Minnesota School of Business/Globe University. I completed forty hours of clinical in the New Prague School District with Cheryl Malecha, BSN/LSN District Nurse. I had the opportunity to follow four of the school nurses during the school hours to understand their nursing role on a daily basis. The whole experience assists me to understand the role of a community nurse in a school setting.

Tracy: A senior nursing student enrolled in Community Health Nursing class at Minnesota School of Business/Globe College. Where I completed forty hours of clinical at Harding High School, in their Healthstart Clinic, in Saint Paul, MN. While there I shadowed a Nurse Practitioner, working with a high risk adolescent population, spending a lot of time educating patients and preventative care.
