Marie: A senior nursing student taking Community Health Nursing at Minnesota School of Business/Globe University. I completed forty hours of clinical in the New Prague School District with Cheryl Malecha, BSN/LSN District Nurse. I had the opportunity to follow four of the school nurses during the school hours to understand their nursing role on a daily basis. The whole experience assists me to understand the role of a community nurse in a school setting.

Where I completed forty hours of clinical at Harding High School, in their Healthstart Clinic, in Saint Paul, MN. While there I shadowed a Nurse Practitioner, working with a high risk adolescent population, spending a lot of time educating patients and preventative care.
